1, the exhibition did not see the old Russian state-owned machine tool enterprises brands, such as red proles, Leningrad machine tool factory, whether these enterprises have retired from the stage of history is unknown. Ask the Russian exhibitors at the booth, some say they have gone out of business, and some say companies have changed a lot in the 1990s, and have turned to other industries, so it is a fact that the once famous Russian machine tool factory no longer produces machine tool products.
2, Russia's small and medium-sized machine tool enterprises are rising, low - and medium-grade CNC machine tool exhibits more, high-grade CNC machine tool products are still in the initial stage, in the exhibition of class exhibits are still German, Japanese, Swiss products, no dazzling Russian products.
3, the appearance of some CNC machine tools in Russia is not very beautiful and modern, but still can show a good level of technology and parts of the processing quality, without losing the image of high rigidity, durable Russian products. In the exhibition, I also saw a Russian exhibit with obvious characteristics of Chinese products, which was suspected to be OEM products, but the exhibitor denied it. We believe that this kind of cooperation relationship is possible.
4, the Russian CNC system is relatively backward, there is no independent brand of CNC system. There is no single Russian CNC system on display, nor matching Russian CNC machine tools. The exhibition of CNC machine tools are basically equipped with FANUC, SIEMENS and other foreign systems. According to the present situation of numerical control system in China, it is completely possible to enter the Russian market with the medium and low grade numerical control system.

Two policies issued by the Russian government will play a positive role in promoting the development of the Russian machine tool industry.
First, the government will invest us $1 billion in the machine tool industry from 2011 to 2016, of which us $750 million will be used for product development and us $250 million for technological transformation to improve the production capacity of the existing Russian machine tool industry. The goal is to develop 50 to 60 new products a year. For the research and development of new products, similar machine tools within three years to restrict the import. From July 1, 2011, machine tools used for national defense and military industry, as long as domestic production is not allowed to import, machine tool association is responsible for the review.
Second, within five years from 2011, the Russian government will invest us $300 billion in the construction of power facilities and nuclear power plants, mainly for the purchase of equipment.
